Selected Text: Ecclesiastes 3:1-15
Life is full of ups and downs, and sometimes it seems
like we finally get things going the right way and the
next thing we know, something happens and trouble seems
to be laying around
our feet.
It might have to do with family or friends or it might have
to do with
your job, but more often then not if we would
just take time to really
look at the picture, we find
underneath the surface of our trouble, our
faith is lacking
in one way or another. We tend to grow weary at waiting
for
the blessing we want from God that day.
All of those unsettling
heartaches are happening for a
reason, it might just be a spot in your
life where God
wants you to do something different or maybe He just wants
you to stay strong in your faith and to give Him the glory,
as an example
to others.
This world we lives in comes in the fast paced, instant
package of convienience,
and most of the time we convince
ourselves that it makes it easier on
us, but it really
doesn't. Fast food turns to cholesterol and weight problems;
ATM withdrawls are easily forgotten and the next thing we
know we are
broke. But then we pull out that plastic and
save ourselves.
We don't want to wait, we want everything as fast as
possible. It seems
to me that all of these hurry up things,
really add to the impatience
of the world around us.
The majority of us are having alot of health
problems and
we turn to whatever miracle pill the Doctor can give us,
to
make us feel better.
This isn't the answer. Don't get me wrong here, some
medications are vitally
important to our well being but
sometimes I think we all tend to make
things seem a little
worse than they really are.
This fast paced world eventually catches up with us and we
are searching
for a way out of our complicated world, but
folks we are a product of
our own laziness, even in our
faith.
Do you take the time out to read Gods word?
Do you take the time out to worship God in music and praise?
Do you take the time out to lend a helping hand to another
Christian?
Do you take the time out to lead a lost soul to the life
saving knowledge
of the Lord?
I urge all of you to read the selected scripture for this
month's Bible
study and I would love to hear from you.

And I want to leave you with this last thought.
* I know that whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever.
nothing can put
an end to it, not anything taken from it
and God doeth it, that men should
fear before Him. Ec 3:14
You need to believe that God is in control of all things
and whatever
He wishes for your life, will be done. He
holds all the power and we are
at His loving mercy. If God
was out to condemn you or destroy you, He
wouldnt be going
before you working out the solution to your problem.
Til Next Time.
