I just love this time of year! Here in
Oklahoma
the grass is just starting to turn
green. It wont be long before the crocuses
and the daffodills start to push their way
up through the rock hard ground.
Have you ever thought about that before?
Those flowers really have to
struggle to make
it up above the earth, but once they make it
to the top, the sun shines on them and all
of the sudden beauty for our eyes is a gift
we can count on.
I sort of want you to think about yourself in
this way. Once God brings you up, you are a
beautiful creation that brings
joy and beauty
to the people who are in your life.
NO longer does the dark cold past hold you
back. No longer do your days end with frozen
dreams. Yes we have our struggles and yes
sometimes it's really hard to make it to the
top, but, once you realize God has the power
to do that, you are set free.
Many of those flowers and herbs have a two
fold effect, they are not only
beautiful but
healing. And your life is something to be
cherished and enjoyed and
once Jesus comes
into your life, your world warms up into
beauty and
purpose. You can bring healing
into someone elses life, someone who might
need a warm smile or a comforting hug or
maybe they just need to know how special and
important they are.
Take time out today to reach out and bring
beauty to the special people
God puts in
your life.
Your life has a very important purpose and
that is to be the best you can be for Christ
and for those who need your help. This type
of obedience fills your life
with prosperity
and in turn not only does your life flourish
so does the lives of those God sends your
way.
Take out a little bit of time today and look
out over the people in your life, reflect on
your service and ask yourself if you have
reached the goal of being Christ like, full of
beauty, prosperity and power.
