God has blessed my life in so many ways that it is hard to pinpoint one to share. I have been given the spiritual gift of discernment and wisdom and it is manifested in some very special ways.

Hi everyone, I hope this month finds you doing well and strong in Gods grace and presence. This month we are going to focus on finding out what God expects from us as godly women.

Selected Text:
*She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Proverbs 31:27

I have taken a few of the words in this scripture and done a word study. That word study is going to be the basis for the text I have written for us this month.

The following words are defined and researched from The Strongs Concordance:

1.Well = health, complete

2.Ways = path, company

3. Household = family, guests, ( anyone under your roof )

4. Bread = food

5. Idleness = laziness, slothfulness

* The following paragraphs are paraphrased with the new definitions.

1.She focuses her eyes toward the health of her family and to the path her family takes. And does not give in to inactivity.

2. She observes completely the company her family keeps and does not give into slothfullness.

With those new definitions in mind, I hope you will be able to understand just what it is God expects from us as women.

Lets get on with the rest of the story.

<(((> Can you be the Women God expects you to be? <(((>

I have been a spouse and parent for over 25 years and even after all those years, I have found there isn't any one specific way to keep your house in order. However, if we can pull God's word into our daily life, we can live a little more in the center of God's will for our lives.

The image of today's woman exemplifies strength, independence and is very capable of doing what is necessary to meet the needs of everyone who resides under her roof. Sometimes I am very proud of just how much a woman is capable of and other times I wish life could be a little less busy.

We have so many different areas in our lives that we pay attention to and with the constant business of keeping up with everyone's activities can lead to much stress and pressure for most of God's women who are trying to do what is right.

It's hard to know what is to much involvement and what is not enough. Both instances can either be the strength or the breaking point in our family unit.

Proverbs 31 shoes Godly women who are involved in the business world as well as one who gets involved with her family. If you decide to hold down a job, you can't let your family suffer - you still have to maintain the completeness of being who God wants you to be.

First and foremost, you have to take care of you before you can take care of everyone else, If you are out of shape mentally, physically or spiritually, that would be the first step you need to take. I have spent all this time taking care of everyone else and this year my body is paying me back tenfold. I've had more health problems than ever before. So ladies take a little time out to get your self built up.

Maybe you don't have any kids or a significant other. You still need to know what God's idea of a perfect woman is. You will still have people in your life who need cared for.

Laziness is without a doubt totally unacceptable and if you give into that, your making a big mistake. I can tell you without hesitation that it will affect your life and everyone around you negatively.

Go back and take a look at the two paraphrased paragraphs and ask yourself what it is that you need to do to meet the requirements, so you can be called a godly woman.

One concentrates on the physical well being in your family. Are you lacking in this area? If you are, just remember that your family is depending on you to help them through their lives and that never really changes, Even when they grow up, you are still mom. You have a responsibility to provide the right foods and health care, so they can start on the journey of successful living.

The other concentrates on what plan your kids have for their lives and with the company they keep. Your kids are screaming out for the correct type of discipline and order in their lives. They make sulk around a little bit but deep inside they will appreciate just what it is you are trying to help them with.

There is so much that you have to do as a women in the family unit that I know without a doubt that you can't do it without God's presence and peace. You have to have His strength to carry you on from one activity to another.

I have always found that if I get up a little earlier than everyone else, use that time to wake up and plan my day, and of course for my quiet time with the Lord, that everything seems to go a little easier.

If you don't spend time with the Lord first off and don't take a little time out for yourself, you will undoubtably not be at your best.

So this month I want to ask all of you to start building yourself up and start working on a plan on how you can be all you can be. Proverbs 31 tells us that being the woman in the family is complicated and time restricting. But I know that each and everyone of you are capable of all of this. With Christ, you can do all things. There is nothing that you are not capable of doing correctly.

Til Next Time.
