Happy New Year 2001!

Prayer for 2001
" Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily Bread.
And forgive our sins,
As we forgive each one of those Who sins against us.
And lead us not to the time of trial,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The power and the glory.
Let all the people say Amen,
In every tribe and tongue.
Let every heart's desire be joined,
To see the Kingdom come.
Let every hope and every dream,
Be born in love again.
Let all the world sing with one voice,
Let the people say Amen. "

" After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."
( Matthew 6:9 - 13 )

This song; " The Millenium Prayer " was recorded by Sir Cliff Richard in 1999. I still believe it is a message for the body of Christ in 2001.

Covenant Keepers Moving the Ark Of The Covenant

In the days to come, we will look at a series based on a message preached by Pastor Tony Miller of New Harvest Church in Clewiston, Florida.

In 2 Samuel chapter 6, David was moving the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem when he had tried to move it in a manner that was not according to pattern, when they came to the threshing floor, the cart began to shake and the Ark of the Covenant looked like it was about to fall, and Uzzah reached out to touch it, to steady it, believing he was doing right, and the Bible says he dropped dead and it wasn't even his fault! ( 2 Samuel 6:7 ) His friend got him in trouble! He was David's best friend, and David had asked him to walk beside the Ark and make sure everything was alright, and Uzzah just reached up to steady it. That's why what you don't know can hurt you! Uzzah didn't know the Ark of the Covenant was not to be brought in on a Philistine cart ( I always wondered about this, why God was so " mean " to kill Uzzah who just trying to help. Now I know that this transfer of the Ark was wrong from the start! ) led by two milk cows. Now, there's a lot of churches trying to bring the Presence of God into their church that same way!

Do you know what a Philistine cart was made of? A bunch of boards and a couple big wheels! And most churches are trying to bring the Presence of God into their buildings the same way - on a bunch of boards and a couple big wheels! But I've got news for you! The Ark of the Covenant is brought on the shoulders of consecrated priests! And every born again child of God is a priest unto God! ( Revelation 1:6 )
