Happy New Year 2001!

Prayer for 2001
" Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily Bread.
And forgive our sins,
As we forgive each one of those Who sins against us.
And lead us not to the time of trial,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The power and the glory.
Let all the people say Amen,
In every tribe and tongue.
Let every heart's desire be joined,
To see the Kingdom come.
Let every hope and every dream,
Be born in love again.
Let all the world sing with one voice,
Let the people say Amen. "

" After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."
( Matthew 6:9 - 13 )

This song; " The Millenium Prayer " was recorded by Sir Cliff Richard in 1999. I still believe it is a message for the body of Christ in 2001.

Covenant Keepers Does The Holy Ghost Stay Around?

Before we begin today, let me clear up an abbreviation I used in the last text: ERKJV stands for " Easy Reading King James Version ". The original King James Version made it unclear by using the phrase " And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: "

Jesus is just like the father in that parable. When one of His children go their own way, He stands waiting and watching until they " come to themselves " or wake up and realize what they're doing and return to Him with a repentant heart. He loves us so much that He will seek us out.

My Pastor, who regular readers know recently went home to be with the Lord, testified that Holy Ghost would show up in the bar with him and ask; " What are you doing in here? " This may ruffle a few feathers because the Word does say that God cannot mix with darkness. While that is truth from God's Word, we must remember that we are the temple of the Holy Ghost [ 1 Corinthians 3:16 , 1 Corinthians 6:19 ] and everywhere you go, He goes with you. To further clarify this, allow me to ask a question: When you go to the theatre to see a rated R movie that you know will have profanity and most likely God's Holy Name will be taken in vain, does the Holy Ghost leave your body? No!

You might say; " I don't go to rated R movies.

" What do you watch on television? What kind of music do you listen to? Does the Holy Ghost leave you as you do that? Of course not! He's inside you! Now this is not to say that you can go out and live the way the world lives because continuous disobedience eventually leads to the person turning their back on God. The longer they continue in that condition, the more likely they will never return to God and end up spending eternity in hell.

But if one day the Holy Ghost gets through and they listen to His voice and as a result, come to God with a repentant heart and ask forgiveness for their failing God, He restores them to their rightful place in Him.

So, it's never too late to be restored. In fact, there is only one " unforgivable sin " according to God's Word and that is blaspheming the Holy Ghost. ( Matthew 12:31 - 32 ) My definition of blaspheming the Holy Ghost is that after having once expierienced the Holy Ghost and His power, that someone denies that they ever had it and claims the Holy Ghost and His power are not real but is fake. If you've never done that, ( and few people have ) then there is nothing you have done that you cannot be forgiven for.
