Happy New Year 2001!
Prayer for 2001
" Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily Bread.
And forgive our sins,
As we forgive each one of those
Who sins against us.
And lead us not to the time of trial,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The power and the glory.
Let all the people say Amen,
In every tribe and tongue.
Let every heart's desire be joined,
To see the Kingdom come.
Let every hope and every dream,
Be born in love again.
Let all the world sing with one voice,
Let the people say Amen. "
" After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed
be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive
our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."
( Matthew 6:9 - 13 )
This song; " The Millenium Prayer " was recorded by Sir Cliff Richard in
1999. I still believe it is a message for the body of Christ in 2001.

What New Doctrine Is This?
" So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter,' Simon, son of Jonas,
lovest thou Me more than these?' He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; Thou knowest
that I love thee.' He saith unto him, ' Feed My lambs. '
He saith to him
again the second time, ' Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? '
He saith
unto him, ' Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I loveThee.' He saith unto him,
' Feed My sheep.'
He saith unto him the third time, ' Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?
'
Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, ' Lovest thou
me?'
And he said unto Him, ' Lord, Thou knowest all things; Thou knowest
that I love thee. '
Jesus saith unto him, ' Feed My sheep. '
( John 21:15 – 17 Capitals and Punctuation added )
I believe that there was a reason Jesus asked Peter this
question three
times. It was to restore him from his having
denied he knew Jesus three
times. Not only to restore Peter,
but to restore him to his purpose which was to preach the
Gospel. ( " Feed My Sheep, lambs " )
Now, let's look at
Acts 2:1 - 8, 12:
" And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord
in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind,
and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat
upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other
tongues,
as the Spirit gave them utterance.
And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation
under heaven.
Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded,
because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, ' Behold,
are not all these
which speak Galilaeans?
And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? '
And
they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another,' What meaneth
this? ' "
I think they were actually saying; " What new doctrine is this?! "
