Today ( 26 October 2000 ) we celebrate 2 years of bringing a daily Word from God to His Covenant Partners! I am still in awe at the things God is using me to do for Him!

Today begins a series that I have desired to start since God gave my wife
and
I the vision for " Covenant Talk " . Beginning today, we will explore the
Blood
Covenant that we , as a child of God have with Him through Jesus.
It all
started
with Jesus' last words on the cross: " It is Finished ! " ( John 19:30
). But,
remember , Jesus didn't stay there in that borrowed tomb! He just needed
it
for the weekend!
The Bible says in Hosea 4:6 , that God's people are destroyed
for lack
of knowledge. They can be saved , born again and Spirit filled
and still
be living a life of destruction because they do not have the knowledge
to walk in the fullness of God's life and blessings.
Look at what Isaiah 5:13 says:
" Therefore My people are gone into captivity , because they have no
knowledge . "
Unfortunately , some do not want this knowledge. God's
Word calls
people who are not willing to spend the time it takes to research God's
Word , which is the meat of His table , fools. ( Psalms 107:13 )
Others think that they know God's Word and don't need to research it.
This is where two famous " quotes from the Bible " come from that have
been handed down for centuries.
" Cleanliness is next to Godliness. "
and " God helps those who help themselves. " While these sound like
they come from the Bible , they are not there.
Check it out , you will not find them.
God's Word brings us:
1. Revelation
2. Wisdom and Knowledge
3. Healing
4. Deliverance
5. Victory
God wants us to understand His Word. He gave us a way to understand
it. Look at what Jesus said in John 14:26.
Get into God's Word today
because it is a " lamp unto your feet and a light unto
your path . " ( Psalms 119:105 )
