The following is a poem Jesus gave me for His Birthday celebration this year: SANTA'S CHRISTMAS SEASON PRAYER: " My Father in heaven, it's Nicholas, Your son. I wanted to talk to You before my work has begun. I thank You for giving me a purpose in life - to bring hope and cheer amongst chaos and strife.

But, Father, many stores and homes that you see are not giving You thanks, they're honoring me! Father, You know my heart, and this wasn't my intention that people speak of me, but Your Son never mention.

Forgive us, O Lord, for distorting this season. It's not giving gifts, but Your Gift that's the reason. All Glory goes to You, Father, You gave us Your Son. And thank You, Lord Jesus, for what You have done.

This is Nicholas, Your servant, ready to make my Christmas Eve flight- Happy Birthday, Lord Jesus! This is a holy night. Amen. "

Covenant Talk A Better Covenant

" But now He hath obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the Mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second." Hebrews 8:6 - 7

Jesus is the Mediator of a better covenant with better promises. In other words, He came between the old and new covenants. As we have discussed earlier, Jesus shed His Blood for the remission of sins ( Matthew 26:28 ). That means His Blood wiped out sins. It didn't just atone for them ( or cover them up ) like animal blood.

This is why it pleased God ( Isaiah 53:10 ) to put Jesus on the cross. So that we could have a way to spend eternity with Him. God knew that this was the only way this could happen.

Since in the conception of a child , the man , being of a sinful nature, gives life to the child , Jesus had to be born to a virgin in order to remain sinless. Thanks to Adam's involvement in " Fruitgate ", man can no longer give Spirit life.

Since Jesus has both Spirit life and physical life , only He was and is qualified to wipe out sin once and for all. ( Psalms 103:12 ) So, When you sin ( I would say " If " here , but , we being born into a sinful nature , will sin. This is not to say that we deliberately set out and plan to sin, { I hope for your sake that you don't } but we will sin in some way and God knows that. That's why He sent Jesus to die on the cross for us. ) , if you will do the following , then your sin will be put under the blood of Jesus and be wiped out forever. ( Psalms 103:12 )

1. Admit and confess your sin. ( 1 John 1:9 )
2. Repent and turn from it. ( 2 Chronicles 7:14 )
3. Ask forgiveness. ( Psalms 25:11 )
4. Ask Jesus to apply His Blood to it. ( Plead the Blood )
5. Walk in the knowledge that your sin has been forgiven.
6. Draw close to God and He will draw close to you.
