Happy New Year 2001!

Prayer for 2001
" Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily Bread.
And forgive our sins,
As we forgive each one of those Who sins against us.
And lead us not to the time of trial,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The power and the glory.
Let all the people say Amen,
In every tribe and tongue.
Let every heart's desire be joined,
To see the Kingdom come.
Let every hope and every dream,
Be born in love again.
Let all the world sing with one voice,
Let the people say Amen. "

" After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."
( Matthew 6:9 - 13 )

This song; " The Millenium Prayer " was recorded by Sir Cliff Richard in 1999. I still believe it is a message for the body of Christ in 2001.

Covenant Talk Contrast of the Covenants

Jesus Himself said that He did not come to destroy the law or the prophets but to fulfill them. ( Matthew 5:17 ) Today , we will begin to look at how He did just that. We will look at each step of cutting Covenant again and see if Jesus used them in cutting the New Covenant with man. Before we begin , think about this: Why were there 8 steps to cutting a Blood Covenant instead of 7?

Because 8 is the number of new beginnings!

1. THE EXCHANGE OF GARMENTS:

O.T. : Genesis 3:21 ( By the way , this was the first fur coat! )

N.T. : John 19:23 - 24 ( Obviously, Jesus' coat was not cheap! )

The scripture reference in John 19:24 was Psalms 22:18.

2. THE EXCHANGE OF WEAPONS:

O.T. : Deuteronomy 28:7
N.T. : Luke 10:19

3. THE EXCHANGE OF NAMES: O.T. :

Genesis 17:1 - 7
Exodus 20:24
Jeremiah 31:33 - 34
Psalms 23:1

N.T. :
John 14:12 - 14
John 16:23
Did you get ahold of John 14:12? Jesus said we would do greater works than He in His Name if we believe on Him!

4. CUTTING UNTIL THE BLOOD FLOWS:

O.T. :
Genesis 15:9

N.T. :
John 19:34, 2 Corinthians 5:17 - 21

5. SPLITTING OF THE ANIMALS RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE

O.T. :
Genesis 15:7
Isaiah 53:5

N.T.
Matthew 27:26
