Prayer for 2001
" Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily Bread.
And forgive our sins,
As we forgive each one of those
Who sins against us.
And lead us not to the time of trial,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The power and the glory.
Let all the people say Amen,
In every tribe and tongue.
Let every heart's desire be joined,
To see the Kingdom come.
Let every hope and every dream,
Be born in love again.
Let all the world sing with one voice,
Let the people say Amen. "

This song; " The Millenium Prayer " was recorded by Sir Cliff Richard in
1999. I still believe it is a message for the body of Christ in 2001.

Part Three
8. THE SETTING UP OF A COVENANT MEAL:

" When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar ( Jesus had said ; " I thirst
. " so a Roman soldier had dipped a sponge in a vessel of vinegar and put
it upon a stalk of hyssop and had put it to His lips. [ John 19:28 - 29
] ), He said; " It is finished ! " and He bowed His Head and gave up the
ghost . " ( John 19:30 )
Why did Jesus say; " It is finished! " ( Remember when you were a kid and
you were " The Kid with a million questions " ? You'd ask " Why ? " about
everything. { I'm sure I did! } Well , let's reach back and grab one of
those " Whys? " now.
So, why did Jesus say; " It is finished ! " ? What
He was saying was the Covenant is now complete. All 8 steps have been completed.
Sin has been wiped out for all eternity. Man has now been reconciled to
God. Now , man must take the steps necessary to accept that reconciliation.
But , how do we do that?
1. Admit you are a sinner. ( Romans 3:23 )
2. Confess your sin and ask forgiveness for it. ( Romans 10:9 - 10 , 1 John
1:9 )
3. Believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God. ( Matthew 16:13 -
16)
4.. Believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again to purchase for
you a way to have eternal life. ( John 3:16 , John 3:36 , Acts 15:30 - 31)
5. Pray the following prayer:
" Dear God, I believe in my heart that Jesus is Your Son and that He died
on the cross for me. Jesus , I repent of my sins and ask you to come into
my heart right now and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving me
and for giving me eternal life. In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen. "
6. Rejoice because if you have sincerely prayed this prayer , you are now
a child of God and saved for all eternity. You now have a place in Heaven
reserved for you ( John 14:1 - 3 ). In order to stay that way , you must
grow in Christ and turn from your old life and old ways.
The Holy Spirit will help you do that if you allow Him to.
7. Let the Lord lead you to the church He wants you to be a part of. One
that believes in , teaches and preaches the " incorruptible , indestructible,
uncompromised , never changing " Word of God as the late Pastor John Osteen
of Lakewood Church in Houston always said.
