Prayer for 2001
" Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily Bread.
And forgive our sins,
As we forgive each one of those
Who sins against us.
And lead us not to the time of trial,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The power and the glory.
Let all the people say Amen,
In every tribe and tongue.
Let every heart's desire be joined,
To see the Kingdom come.
Let every hope and every dream,
Be born in love again.
Let all the world sing with one voice,
Let the people say Amen. "

This song; " The Millenium Prayer " was recorded by Sir Cliff Richard in
1999. I still believe it is a message for the body of Christ in 2001.

Diatheke
" For this is My Blood of the New Testament, ( Covenant , which in this
case is the Greek word " Diatheke [ di-ah-tha-kay ] " which means a one
sided Covenant.
So, how was Jesus qualified to cut Blood Covenant ?
1. He is the High Priest of the Most High God.
" The Lord hath sworn ,
and will not repent , Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizadek.
" ( Psalms 110:4 ) ( Was Melchizadek actually Jesus ? ) ( Genesis 14:18
, Hebrews 7:1 )
2. He is the Word of God.
( John 1:1 , Revelation 19:13 )
3. He is the Lamb of God ( The Blood of the Covenant )
( Exodus 12:3 , 5 , John 1:29 , Genesis 22:8 )
4. He is both Man and God.
( Isaiah 9:6 , Matthew 26:26 - 28 )
When
Jesus and the disciples partook of the Lord's Supper ( Communion ) , The
Jewish custom at the time was that a fourth chair was to be set aside at
the table to be reserved for the coming Messiah. Also , a fourth cup ,turned
upside down was placed and reserved . There were three loaves of pierced
and striped unleavened bread in a pouch , the top loaf representing
the Father , the middle loaf , the Son and the bottom loaf representing
the Holy Spirit .
Imagine the disciples shock when Jesus took the middle
loaf , sat down in " the chair " and took " the cup " !
That's why I do not take stock in the nice , calm solemn paintings of the
Lord's Supper that you see and that many of us have in our homes.
