Prayer for 2001
" Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily Bread.
And forgive our sins,
As we forgive each one of those
Who sins against us.
And lead us not to the time of trial,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The power and the glory.
Let all the people say Amen,
In every tribe and tongue.
Let every heart's desire be joined,
To see the Kingdom come.
Let every hope and every dream,
Be born in love again.
Let all the world sing with one voice,
Let the people say Amen. "

This song; " The Millenium Prayer " was recorded by Sir Cliff Richard in
1999. I still believe it is a message for the body of Christ in 2001.

Jesus' Present Day Ministry
The Bible says in Hebrews
13:8 that Jesus Christ is " the same , yesterday , today and
forever .
" So, what is Jesus doing nowadays? What does His Ministry consist of
now
- in late 2000 ? Let's look at 5 aspects of Jesus' present day ministry:
1. Jesus is the High Priest of our life:
Psalms 110:4 says that Jesus is
a Priest forever after the order of Melchizadek. In Hebrews 8:1 - 2 , He
is the Minister of all Holy things ( such as our prayers , our sacrifices
, etc. )
2. Jesus is the Mediator of our Covenant with God( Hebrews 8:6,
Hebrews 9:15 )
As the Mediator of the Covenant , Jesus takes everything
to the Father for us. We cannot approach God except through the Blood of
Jesus Christ.Through Jesus' Blood , we can come boldly to the throne of
God. ( Hebrews 4:14 - 16) .

3. Jesus is making intercession
( praying to the Father ) for you:
( Romans 8:34 , Hebrews 7:25 )

Jesus is our Advocate ( Lawyer ) , pleading our case to the Father:

John 1:1 - 10 , 1 John 2:1 - 6 )
You may be asking; " Why do I need Jesus
to pray for me? Do Christians sin ? "
Let's look at some scriptures:
" Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall
eat the fruit thereof , " ( Proverbs 18:21 )
THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS:
" These six things doth the Lord hate; yea, seven are an abomination unto
Him :
1. A proud look
2. A lying tongue
3. Hands that shed innocent blood
4. A heart that diveseth wicked imaginations ( plans )
5. Feet that be swift in running to mischief
6. A false witness that speaketh lies
7. He that soweth discord among brethren
