Prayer for 2001
" Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily Bread.
And forgive our sins,
As we forgive each one of those
Who sins against us.
And lead us not to the time of trial,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The power and the glory.
Let all the people say Amen,
In every tribe and tongue.
Let every heart's desire be joined,
To see the Kingdom come.
Let every hope and every dream,
Be born in love again.
Let all the world sing with one voice,
Let the people say Amen. "

This song; " The Millenium Prayer " was recorded by Sir Cliff Richard in
1999. I still believe it is a message for the body of Christ in 2001.

Jesus' Present Day Ministry (Part 2)
When you sin ( I would say " If " here , but , we being born into a sinful
nature , will sin. This is not to say that we deliberately set out and plan
to sin,{ I hope for your sake that you don't } but we will sin in some way
and God knows that. That's why He sent Jesus to die on the cross for us.
) , if you will ( sincerely and with all your heart and mean it when you
do so ) do the following , then your sin will be put under the blood of
Jesus and be wiped out forever. ( Psalms 103:12 )
1. Admit and confess your sin. ( 1 John 1:9 )
2. Repent and turn from it. ( 2 Chronicles 7:14 )
3. Ask forgiveness. ( Psalms 25:11 )
4. Ask Jesus to apply His Blood to it. ( Plead the Blood ) ( Ephesians 1:7
)
5. Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. ( Hebrews 10:22 - 23
)
5. Jesus is the Guarantor ( Surety , Co-Signer ) of our Covenant with God.(
Hebrews 7:22 )Jesus picks up where we lack.
So, what is our part of the Covenant? After all , Jesus has made us to be
kings and priests in the Covenant! ( Revelation 1:5 - 6 )
What are the responsibilities and duties of being a Priest?
1. Offer sacrifices. ( Such as the sacrifice of praise: Hebrews 13:15 )(
Psalms 149 and 150 ) We need to have a priestly mouth!( James 3:10 , Ephesians
4:29 , Psalms 141:3 , Psalms 34:1 )
2. Pray for yourself and your brothers and sisters in Christ.( Hebrews 4:16
)This also includes Spiritual Warfare. ( Ephesians 6:10 - 18 , 2 Corinthians
10:4 - 5 )
We should be two things in our Priesthood:
1. The salt of the earth and the light of the world. ( Matthew 5:13 - 14
)( Do people see Jesus in you? )
2. More than a conqueror. ( Romans 8:37 )
Will you be satisfied with only being a taker or will you be a giver and
a taker?
Next time , we will look at the power of praise and how we are more than
a conqueror !
