NATION SHALL RISE AGAINST NATION:
AMERICA UNDER ATTACK Part 1
The disciples had asked Jesus in Matthew 24 what the signs
leading to His return would be. In light of what happened yesterday ( Sept.
11, 2001 ), let's look at Matthew 24:6 - 7 :
" And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled:
for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: "
Now, I am NOT SAYING that the Lord Jesus had anything to do with what happened.
What I am saying is that He did warn us of things of this nature, but who
could believe an attack of this magnitude even after the forewarning?
There will be time for anger later. Right now, we must minister to those
who have survived this horrific event.
Pray for the following today and in the days to come:
1. God's mercy and grace upon this nation.
2. The president as he leads us through this time.
3. The families directly affected by the loss of loved ones.
4. Those involved in recovery and rescue.
5. Those who live or work nearby.
6. Those who were on the scene at the time of the different events.
7. The leaders of this country as they answer the call to action.
8. The people of America as the reality of the attack sets in.
9. Our children who don't understand
