Title: To God You Are Sublime

Have you ever heard that awful lie that man is unworthy
before God,
that we are like rubbish in his eyes because of our sins, that He would
rather
kick us in the face than embrace us with his love? My God, there
are few lies
more wrong than this one. Nothing is further from the truth!
You know what?
You are the most precious thing God has ever created!
You are so precious to Him that He became a man and died for you,
so that you could be free to come into His arms of love. Do you understand
what that means? Can you grasp it? He loves you buddy! Much more than you
think.
Just think about this: the whole universe is full of trillions of stars,
planets, and other interesting stuff. God is infinite and immeasurable in
his power and wisdom,
and yet He focuses all his attention on our little
planet. Why is that? Because of you and me!
He created us to be loved by Him and to love Him in return. He is an ultimate
love being, and so are we. There is nothing we need more than love. He created
us that way. Well, just think about it.
He is your Creator and He likes you so much that He wants to spend eternity
with you. Ever thought about that?
Everything in the Bible talks about
this one theme: Gods dream to be with his beloved people Ð forever and
ever and ever. That is the ultimate goal of creation. That is Gods passion.
You and me!
Right now you can already experience a bit of that by His Spirit who wants
to live inside of us and who wants to reveal to us the love and power of
the almighty God. He gave His Son, Jesus, as a ransom for you, to buy you
free from the powers of sin, guilt, shame and destruction that rule this
world. When you receive his forgiveness, He comes to you
with His Spirit.
His Spirit is His presence in your life. The more you open up your heart
to Him, the more you will experience how precious He thinks you are, and
the more you will realize how much He loves you.
You are His favorite! Really...you better believe it, 'cause it's truer
than anything else!
