Title: Finances 10

Finances 10
The whole kingdom of God operates on faith-filled words. The
Bible is an example, the parable of the sower sowing the Word is another.
In the latter case, God says this parable is the key to all other parables.
Why? because understanding of the other parables, and the Kingdom, comes
from meditating on the Word. This is done by first sowing the word or confessing
it out loud to yourself. Meditation literally means ruminating, like a cow
chews its cud. You think about it awhile by saying it, maybe looking up
the words so you know what it means, maybe telling someone else about it.
Then you might leave it for awhile, then come back and think about it some
more, think about how it applies to your life and others; see yourself doing
what it says, kind of like trying it on for size. At first it feels awkward,
even hypocritical because the flesh is repelled by it. But after awhile
(Rom 10:17), something happens inside of you and it sinks down into your
heart, into your "knower". Now you KNOW it's true. There is a reality to
it that you had not experienced before. This is the substance of faith.
Faith is released with words: 2Cor. 4:13 "We having the same spirit of faith,
according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we
also believe, and therefore speak".
At first, as you confess the word, not much happens because there's not
much if any faith. It came every time you said it, but just not enough to
produce anything yet. The Scripture says, "Out of the abundance of the heart
the mouth speaks". This means we might have to remove a lot of junk in our
hearts so that our mouths can say good things. Eventually, as our minds
become renewed, our hearts will start speaking what our spirits desire to
come to pass. This takes time. Satan might come along and say, "See there,
nothing is happening". He's trying to get you to confess that lie and quite.
Don't do what he says! do what God says! "The devil's trying to make me
do ..." - well don't do it! The Greater One lives in you.
"Well, if all this is so, I'm going to put in a seed crop for $18 million".
Start small. If you had that kind of faith, you'd have the money already.
Believe for your next pair of socks. Believe God for your church meeting
their budget.
Mal. 3:13 "Your words have been stout against me, says the LORD". This is
the reason God can't do anything for us sometimes. Our confession is contrary
to the Word of God. We must first know what the will of God is. Its the
Word of God, the Bible. God's not going to say one thing and will another.
That would be double minded, and double mindedness is a house divided (Lk
11:17).
