Title: Finances 13

Finances 13
We prepare the soil of our heart by meditating in the Word
day and night (Josh 1:8), not confessing the wrong things day and night.
Then plant the Word. Whenever an issues comes up in our lives, the first
thing we should say is, "What does the Word say about that". The Word IS
God (John 1:14). This puts God on the scene, and where the spirit of the
Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17). Write it down! Pray it out loud "officially"
before God, the devil, and whoever else is in AGREEMENT with you. This becomes
a point of contact, like a stone of memorial the Jews erected at the behest
of God to remember something that occurred.
Now plant the gift. Giving
is the quintessential principle of the law of prosperity. The word without
action is dead. "Well, I don't having any money to give". God says He gives
seed (money) to the sower (2Cor 9:10). If you are sowing, God will provide
seed money. Don't eat your seed! If you had one last dollar to your name,
give it away, don't buy something with it. What useful thing can you buy
with a dollar anyway. Give something, even if its not money. Give good stuff
away, not your throw-away items. Sow good stuff, good stuff returns; sow
junk, you get junk back. Remember how God remonstrated the Jews for giving
poor quality sacrifices, animals that were blemished or disabled in some
way?
I encourage you to keep a ledger of your giving and receiving. (I
also keep a separate one for how much the devil owes me, but that's a later
topic (Pr 6:30,31)). Be specific of how much you give. Confess the promise
of the 100-fold everyday. (Why? to establish His covenant, and give to the
poor). The giving of the money seed is lifeless without the Word. The Word
is the actual seed, the giving of the gift is actually acting on the Word
you already planted. Those who scoff at such an idea never do this. They
cannot advance beyond their unbelief. God is not impressed by how many times
we say something. We're not talking about earning something from God here.
All confession does is: bring faith, if there is none, and 2) maintain the
force of faith through time. Heb 6:12 says, "Through faith AND patience
we inherit the promises". The word patience here carries the meaning of
endurance. Remember the parable of the unjust judge? The point of the story
was to convey the fact that one of the ways the Kingdom of God operates
is through repetition. We don't need to beg God for stuff that He has already
promised us, so this repetition is not an iteration of the request over
and over again. It is a repetition of thanksgiving that the request was
heard by God the first time, that the Holy Spirit and angels are doing whatever
is necessary to get the job done, and it is a thankful heart expressing
thanks for the answer. When you have faith for something, the manifestation
of it is almost anticlimactic because you already know you have it (Heb
11:1).
