Finances 15
The kingdom of God is within us, in our spirits. God is in
there. Everything we need is in His spirit in us. Our spirit is the clearing
house of whatever happens to us. Maybe you're believing to receive a bus
for your church. Would you like an old yellow school bus that's falling
apart? How about one that's only a few year old? Sure. How about a new one
that seats 50 people? "Well that's a little bit rich for my blood". You
just choked the thing off because you can't see your church having a nice
bus. I'm not saying this is easy. It's not. If there is no vision for it,
it will never happen by the power of God. How about a new car and instead
of a used one? We're going to have to prepare the soil: get to know God
through His word.
Once the vision is cemented in faith, WE must plant
the seed in the name of Jesus. Motive is key - don't give the devil a cheap
shot at you by planting with wrong motives. Purpose to ask yourself why
you're believing for something. You have to be brutally honest with yourself.
Write down the date and time you believed to receive on paper where everyone
can see and refer to the seed.
Then water. Eph 5:26 "That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing
of water by the word." It's the Word that waters. Jn 4:14 "But whoever drinks
of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that
I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting
life." Jn 7:37,38 "If any man thirst, let him come to Me, and drink. He
that believes on Me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow
rivers of living water. " Put living water on living seed! This is the heart
of the issue! this is how you got born again. Do it all day long (Ps 35).
You have what you say (Mk 11:22-24). We are not saying it to make God do
anything. It's not like as if we don't say it enough times, God's not going
to give us as much as we need. We confess to prepare our soil. The seed
of the Word will always produce of itself (Mk 4:28). Go to the Word and
meditate to prepare your soil. We don't have to make the Word work. God
will make sure it will work. Confession doesn't push God, it relaxes in
watering the seed in confidence like you would a natural seed. The earth
brings forth fruit of herself. When the devil comes in with doubt, increase
your confession.
Let's say you're in a church building program. The leadership
must sit down and get a vision of what is wanted. It must be specific so
that there is graphic picture in every ones heart. This vision then must
be received by the congregation to add their faith to it. This is a co-op,
not a one horse pony. The law of giving and receiving works by giving away
what you want. So it may be apropos to sow money into another church's building
fund. Be sure to sow in good soil, in a fruitful ministry, not a dead work.
We need to let the dead bury the dead (Matt 8:22).
