Title: Finances 35

Finances 35
Ps 112:7 "He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart
is fixed, trusting in the LORD". What is your heart established in? in lack,
poverty, fear, sickness... or in prosperity, joy, peace, faith? Life and
death are choices. How to fix in concrete and immovable our hearts is through
the Word. Feed on it and feed on it day and night and night and day. You
can't use your faith and not receive. When you use faith, that includes
the promise to receive when giving. You can't buy anything from God because
nothing is for sale. It's already all been given away to us (2Pet 1:3).
God is a giver. God is not selfish. It doesn't tax Him to give us anything.
Is it buying salvation when we receive it by faith? No, God has already
given salvation to us before we received it (Titus 2:11). When you received
isn't when it was made available, it's when you believed it. Love gives.
He has given, He is giving, and will give again. "Prove Me in this (the
tithe)" (Mal 3:10). Tell God to bless you because your motive is to give
it away to establish His covenant and to give to those in need.
I heard
a story of a preacher that got ugly with someone and let the devourer in.
Subsequently he got his car stereo stolen. He repented, and then purposely,
in prayer, gave it to the man that stole it ("give and it shall be given
you back"). "Lord don't even count it a sin", he told God. "Even if the
cops catch him, I'll just tell them I gave it to him." The devil promptly
piped up and said, "You can't do that!" He's a liar, why listen to him?
Jesus said we can do anything (Matt 19:26, Gen 11:6). He got a Cadillac
car stereo in the mail not soon after this from an unknown source. Unless
your heart is fixed, you'll eventually bow down to satan and his accusations.
He got a new one coming to you in the mail today.
Mk 10:30 says if you give in this life, you will receive a 100X. Jesus said,
"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken
together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the
same measure that you give out it shall be measured back to you". Believe
when you give you'll receive God's promised return. This is not presumption,
this is faith. If you think it presumptuous then, to be honest, I think
you must question your audacity to receive the new birth. You didn't deserve
that either. The Gospel is desperately under funded in the world. We need
to learn about prosperity and become pay masters in the Kingdom. See yourself
receiving from others as this verse states, and see yourself giving it away
to those God prompts you to give to. What a joy it would be to hand a check
over to someone for $10,000!
