Title: Finances 39

Finances 39
"I've given sacrificially till it hurt". God says obedience
is greater than sacrifice. You haven't given till you've given all you've
got. When you have given all you got, and then some, then your Alive! All
that we have is from God anyway. He gave us life itself, He gave us our
minds and hands to get wealth, and He gave us a land to live in.
The eagle has the ability to lock its wings into a maximum climb position.
When he sees a storm coming he doesn't fly away, he meets it head on. As
soon as he feels the first thermal updraft hit him, he locks his wings and
soars above the storm, up to 80,000 feet. He has auxiliary air sacks in
his lungs to breathe up there. He just circles around and around till the
storm passes, then flies down. That's how we should meet the storms of life:
head on. When we get our heart in heaven then we begin to use what heaven
has already given us, we begin to function here according to heavens rules.
This is not our home, we don't belong here: we're sojourners.
1Tim 6:17-19
"Charge them that are rich in this world (not in heaven), that they be not
high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches (don't let your heart be fixed
on money), but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy".
One of the things that will choke the Word is not riches but the deceitfulness
of riches (Mk 4:19); the love of money is root of all evil. "That they do
good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to share,
Laying up in store FOR THEMSELVES a good foundation against the time to
come, that THEY may lay hold on eternal life". Jesus said don't lay up in
store things down here on earth because thieves will steel it. Money is
described here to bless others, to give away: it's seed. The harvest is
eternal life (Greek - zoe). These people Paul was addressing were already
born again. Eternal life (zoe) is more than the new birth. It's all the
other things of the kingdom of God. If you are sick, zoe is healing; if
you're in need, it may be in the form of money. Through the law of genesis,
the law of beginnings, everything produces after its own kind. There is
balance: the man that lives by the sword, dies by the sword; the man that
lives by satanic reservoir of finances will someday have it ripped out from
his grasp. Sowing and reaping is a law. You may not pay in dollars, you
may pay in units of health, of peace... but you will pay. And when it's
all over at the day of your death, you won't own a dime of it, someone else
will get it - you can't take it with you. The books will balance in the
end. When you save for a rainy day, what will you get? rain! Nothing wrong
with saving, but what are your motives? Is it a treasure or fear?
