Finances 4

What is the blessing of Abraham that is available to us through Jesus Christ? Deut 28:1 "And it shall come to pass, if you shall listen diligently to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command you this day, that the LORD your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth: (2) And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you; v.4 Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your cattle, and the flocks of your sheep" Increase is a blessing. the curse offered no increase. v.8 "The LORD shall command the blessing upon you in your storehouses." Most people don't have one savings account, let alone several.

"Well, I thought Jesus said it was bad to build storehouses" (Lk 12:28). No He didn't, He said he already had storehouses and it was foolish of him to build more storehouses and not pay any attention to God. That guy was not rich toward God, he was rich in the world and by the world. He would not have been more comfortable having ten barns instead of six: worldly wealth is a deception. Wealth is not to make you more comfortable, its to: 1) establish His covenant on the earth (Deut 8:18) and 2) give to those who have in need (Eph 4:28).

We're not healed to watch TV without pain. "Well, I can get more people saved in this wheel chair, then I could healed. Besides, if God healed me, nobody would believe it anyway and I'd probably loose some people over it." Lets say you saved 10 people and 8 left the church because you got healed. Now that you are healed and can get about more efficiently, you can talk to 50 people at a time and 35 get saved. You lost some but you gained more. There was a net increase by several fold. Jesus was the same way. God built TV's, the silver screen, airplanes, satellite, etc., so we can reach more people. This IS the reason for prosperity. God has provided for us everything we could possibly need to get the job done that He assigned for us to do. Eph. 2:10 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus toward good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them". What's been the problem? not knowing how to get it, or doing it the world's way. Most of the wealth in the world is through unjust gain because whatever is not of faith is sin (Rom 14:23). All the devil owns materially through the world, has been stolen from us. He doesn't own any of it. He usurped authority over it and has de facto power over it. The Scripture says, "The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just (us)" (Pr 13:22). God says He will show us where it is and how to get it back if our motives are pure (Isa 45:3). Don't you want a bunch of money to give to your church or other ministries? I sure do. We need to know how to get wealth to establish His covenant. I'm not in this position presently, and I suspect you aren't either. That means we need to learn something from God. Ask and you shall receive. Is your heart right about it? will you receive wealth to amass things or to live more comfortably, or do you have the heart to give it away? Decide now before the wealth comes.
