Title: Unfruitful Bride

Unfruitful Bride
Let sin take root within your heart;
You'll find yourself enslaved
For it will draw you in it's power
'Til more of it you crave.
Sin will blind your spirit's eyes
And then you will not hear.
Sin will rob you of your peace
And all that you hold dear.
You'll walk upon familiar paths
And foreign they will seem.
The Joy in Jesus that you felt
Will be as though a dream.
To all the world you'll seem alive
But your spirit will be dead.
The mention of the Lord's return
Will fill your heart with dread.
All it takes is one small step
To walk from God away,
And that step leads to other ones;
Soon you can't seem to pray
The church is much like this today;
No one seems to care.
People dying
all around;
Filled with such despair.
So wrapped up in their hidden sins,
Allowing little things.
Strife and discord may start small
But much destruction bring.
When we agree with Satan
And don't repent of sin
We walk right in to his domain
Then we're no threat to him.
Turn around and take a stand
For God in Holiness
Bombard the works of darkness;
Give Satan's realm no rest.
God has meant for us to be
Soldiers for His cause;
To fight against the enemy;
Snatch loved ones from his jaws.
He has been defeated
So let's not let him win,
By letting him entrap us
And make us slaves to him.
The church is meant to bring in a great harvest of souls for the kingdom
of God.
We are told to lay aside every weight and sin that so easily besets us
so, like a hot potato, we should repent of those sins and trust the Holy
Spirit to strengthen us to live victoriously. The old hymn says," He breaks
the power of cancelled sin.." How can we lose? Amen Love Diane
