Title: Angels

Angels are God's special beings
Ministering to the saints;
Lifting them when they fall down
Cheering when they're faint.
Though I know these heavenly ones
Messengers may be,
They have no certain form or face
When they speak to you and me.
I think they sometimes come as one
Who has a willing spirit
To be a vessel used of God
Regardless who will hear it.
A word, a gift, a lovely smile
Come just the time we need it
Right from the Father's loving heart;
Those moments are life's sweetest.
Yes, "angels" come in different forms;
Stranger, child, or friend,
Encouraging, admonishing;
Reminding us of Him.
With all the lovely angel pins and motifs, we turn to the scriptures and
find that angels are beings sent to minister to the saints. They are neither
male nor female and sometimes take human form. They are not to be worshipped
for their sole purpose is to honor God and do His bidding. It is lovely
to equate someone who has done a service for us as an "angel" or to see
a lovely baby's face and say " what a precious angel." I am sure we have
"entertained angels unawares."
Still, we must be careful not to focus on the angel or the service but on
the One who sends them.
