Title: Love Dares
by Diane Sample

|
Love Dares
Love indeed takes many forms
And love wears many faces.
Love puts on so many hats,
And visits many places.
That one whose sorrow weighs him down
So desperately needs a touch.
A warm embrace, a gentle word
To that one means so much.
The one whose heart feels so afraid
And certain no one cares
Needs love to put on any hat
And go where no one dares.
For love will always dare to go
No matter what the cost,
Into the darkest, lonely place
To reach out to the lost.
Love's not concerned for its own self
Or what the world may think.
Love reaches out to give its all;
From danger will not shrink.
The old Hymn says, "Are ye able", said the Master," to be crucified
with Me?" " Yea," the sturdy dreamers answered, "To the death we'll follow
Thee." Lord, we are willing. Please make us able by your Spirit in us.
Amen Love Diane
