Title: To See My Father Smile
by Diane Sample

|
One day I saw a friend of mine
Weeping on his knees.
I said,"Dear Lord, just help him;
Comfort somehow ,please."
I stayed right there beside him
Praying all the while,
And when his load was lifted
I think God must have smiled.
T'was in the name of Jesus
I offered food and drink
To one who had so little
His flesh began to shrink.
Lovingly I've given
To those who've come in file
My purpose, hope and joy has been
To see my Father smile.
Worship comes from loving and serving those whom God will send our way to
minister His grace to them for no other reason but to please Him. Sometimes
we feel taken for granted, but He is the rewarder andHe sees all we do.
Is He pleased with me today? Have I made my Father smile? II Cor. 9:8
