Title: A Higher Place
by Diane Sample

|
As Moses went to the mountain top
To seek God's Holy Face,
We must seek to daily walk
And rise to a higher place.
In Bible times, a higher place.
Was reserved for the worship of them,
Whom people believed to be their gods;
Who could heal them or free them from sin.
But there was one place
Where an altar was raised
Where the Most High God
Was the one who was praised.
A higher place
And I have found it;
Where righteous hearts
will gather around it.
Where those who desire
A closer walk;
For God to control
Their actions and talk,
Where He will get glory
In all that they do;
Where sin can't control
And worship is true.
How I long to rise
To that glorious place.
Grant me ,my Father,
Your wonderful grace.
The Lord desires we come to His holy mountain to worship Him in the beauty
of His holiness. The heart of a worshipper seeks nothing for itself. It
seeks only to adore the One who is worthy.
God develop in us the heart
of a worshipper.
Amen.
Love Diane
