A Holy Compass
The year is halfway over;
What does this mean to you?
We face uncertain future.
Will you know what to do?
The paths that lie before you
Will seem somewhat confusing.
If you don't see the goal ahead,
Check the compass that you're using.
There is a Holy compass
That will direct your path.
If you'll learn how to read it,
You'll find it meets the task.
You'll see the way made clearer
If you'll just look toward the light
That God has shone before you
To help you through the night.
A warrior needs his weapons
To never be unarmed:
His Sword is always sharpened
To vict'ry walk unharmed
Look not to left or right ,my friends.
Look only straight ahead.
Follow His instructions;
Be by His Spirit led.
Though no one share your vision;
No one share your dreams,
Remember who has called you
To be on the winning team.
Someone's there to pray for you,
Encourage and support.
You're not alone in battle;
God's Arm is not too short.
It's not too short to reach you,
And give your heart's desire.
No problem can remain unchanged
When it goes through His fire.
Beloved, He turns our sorrow to Joy and
gives us beauty for ashes, but what produces the ashes? His fire often
will consume and reduce to ashes that which we think is important but, after
He has tried us, we shall come forth as gold fit for the King's table. He
has given us direction and will direct our paths if we will acknowledge
Him.

I am a teacher /secondary principal at Christian Life Center
Academy in Houston, have 5 children, all married, one husband of 40 years,
I like to write poetry and teach the Word of God. I have been on 6 missions
trips to Spanish speaking countries because I'm fluent in that language. I have taught a childrens ministry, clown and often sing. I am blessed.
I am thankful for the opportunity to share on a broader basis what the Lord
has given me. Thank you.
