Title: Hope
by Diane Sample

|
Just a little piece of paper
Stuck between the pages thin;
Scrawled upon it simply,
"Mom, I love you. Tim"
Messages once goven me
That mean so very much.
Just the time I needed them,
Share Love's gentle touch.
Reaching out, reminding me
They cause my heart to sigh.
This little piece of paper says,
" Mama, dont you cry."
I pray for these, My children
Who've written love to me.
God, please grant them mercy;
From evil keep them free.
Let them know You care for them;
Will never give them up'
And when they bow before You
Fill their empty cup.
Encouraged now, my thoughts turn to
The One who hung the moon.
Another note and this one says,
"Mom, I'll be home soon."
Little notes within the pages
Of my Bible seem to say,
"Be not weary. I am faithful.
I will guide their way"
Often we will find a note one of our children have given us and remember.
God always is faithful and He is on their side whatever they may be going
through, or wherever they are. We know that His promise is to our children
and we gladly hold on to it. Be encouraged today and know that He is our
Father who gives good gifts to his children.
