Title: The Keeper of our Life

Life is sometimes like a horse
Who is sedate and mild.
Other times it throws us off;
It seems so strangely wild.
We're on its back, just trotting on
And suddenly it seems
It turns and bucks, then off we go
Shattering our dreams.
But when we know Who holds the reins
Of that we've called a "horse"
We'll never fear, nor turn away.
It is the Lord, of course.
The Keeper of our very life,
He faithfully will wait
For us to bring our shattered dreams
And all our weakened faith.
He says" I have a plan for you
More than you can imagine.
I will work out for your good
That which you see as tragic."
"Don't be discouraged; look ahead
Seek for My direction,
And I will light the way for you
My Word is My reflection.
Let nothing
turn your heart away;
Raise that heavenly banner.
Let God work his plan in you
In a grateful manner.
Remember to be thankful.
He always holds the reins.
And after all is said and done
His Love is what remains.
It keeps us going when we feel
That we can go no more.
When we run into a wall
He'll make an open door.
Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the plans I have for you... It is not necessary
for you to know. Faith is not faith when you can see where you are going.
Oh for grace to trust Him more. Amen. Love Diane

I am a teacher /secondary principal at Christian Life Center
Academy in Houston, have 5 children, all married, one husband of 40 years,
I like to write poetry and teach the Word of God. I have been on 6 missions
trips to Spanish speaking countries because I'm fluent in that language. I have taught a childrens ministry, clown and often sing. I am blessed.
