Where Are the People?
Where are the people
Who will raise their voice
Who made the choice
To speak forth the Word
As He told them to
Who would wage the war
And see it through?
Though the battle rages fiery hot
They will say,
"Oh no you're not!"
You cannot come against this land
It's mine. God's promise's not like man's
And I will fight
Not in my strength
The battle is His ;
Written in ink.
Ink so red
His blood was shed.
Paid the price
That was on my head.
Oh, who will stand like those two men
Who spoke against the word that ten
Brought forth to say ,"We are too weak!!"
But then those two began to speak.
They were assured God told them right.
They said,"We're able! Let's go fight."
I wonder if old Caleb tried
To tell those folks who eventually died,
"You must trust Him at His word."
But it was like they'd never heard.
Yet God saw a different spirit.
In Caleb's voice, the Lord did hear it!
That mountain that was promised him,
Caleb got it, not those men.
Sometimes it's hard when no one seems
To catch the vision; share our dreams.
The words we speak to no avail,
If God has spoken will prevail.
If God said it, whether anyone believes it
or not, it is still the Truth. I want to be like Caleb.
Hold fast to what
he has promised. Never, never, never let go!

I like to write poetry and teach the Word of God. I have been on 6 missions
trips to Spanish speaking countries because I'm fluent in that language. I have taught a childrens ministry, clown and often sing. I am blessed.
