Love oft is drawn in hearts of red
While arrows pierce it through.
Love and hate are sometimes wed;
Rejected love is colored blue.
Love is many colors cast,
So many colors seen.
True love is always meant to last;
Possessive love is colored green.
Pure Love for mankind does abound;
Love spent for me and you.
This Love ran red upon the ground,
As sword pierced it through.
Oh, Love of God from Calvary's fount!
Oh, Love in every hue!
Pure Love of God has been poured out
Upon the ground for you.
