 Title:  God's On The Move
 by Donna Kazenske

We are hearing many theological teachings today, many voices, many ideas and thoughts. Which teachings are correct? Which voice is God's voice? Which ideas are the right ideas? Which thoughts should I think on, and which thoughts should I delete from my mind?

Our minds are so complex, because God created us in a way that no one else could. He's the creator. Our minds are like tiny computers that allow thousands, if not millions, of thought patterns to run through our heads every single minute of every single day. Sometimes, the thoughts that we have can be very confusing or tormenting to us, especially if they are thoughts from the enemy of our souls. We must be very careful to discern between the good and evil that passes through our minds. At other times, we find that our thought life brings much pleasure and joy, as we meditate on the goodness of our God.

Psalm 68:32-35 - Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth; Oh sing praises to the Lord, Selah. To Him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which were of old! Indeed, He sends out His voice, a mighty voice. Ascribe strength to God; His excellence is over Israel, and His strength is in the clouds. O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people.

This Scripture declares that God's voice is a "mighty" voice. The word mighty means: having or showing great power, skill, strength, or force.

Exodus 32:11 - Then Moses pleaded with the Lord his God, and said; "Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with "great power" and with a mighty hand?

It took "great power" to bring the Israelites out of Egyptian bondage. How many miracles did Moses perform as a result of the power of God moving and operating in his life? It took "great power" to turn the river into blood. It took "great power" to part the Red Sea.

The Lord manifested His power to the Israelites in a mighty way. There were many instances of supernatural demonstration being brought forth for all to see. When God gets ready to do something, don't stand in His way. When it's time for Him to move, He's going to move, and no one will be able to stop Him.

Psalm 68:7-8 - O God, when You went out before Your people, when You marched through the wilderness, the earth shook; the heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God; Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

When God marched, the earth shook. Does God march? The Bible says that He does. When He moves the earth shakes. When He moves the heavens drop rain. Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God. We are talking about a mighty power, friend. When God moves, everything around Him moves. Everything under Him moves. There's power in every movement that God makes.

Churches and Christians all over the world are crying out for a "move of God" in their cities, town, and countries. Do we fully understand what we are praying for when we ask the Lord to "move?" If and when He moves, things are going to start shaking, rattling and rolling. When God begins to move in our homes, our families will be shaken, and we will find ourselves asking the Lord, "What's going on here, God?" When God begins to move in our churches, many in the congregation will decide to pack their bags and leave, because things are getting too uncomfortable for them. Change is taking place, and God forbid that someone might have to sit in a different chair on Sunday morning. When God moves, people fall out of their chairs! When God moves, chairs move! People, places, and things change their position.

When God begins to move, demons will start manifesting in both the unsaved individuals and saved individuals. What a happy thought! Pastors begin to wonder, "What is happening to my congregation?" They don't understand what's going on. People are getting stirred up, and it seems that all hell is breaking loose. My word to you today is this: "RELAX." Let God be God. Let Him do whatever He wants to do in your church. The good news is this: "It's not YOUR church." It's God's church. If He wants to shake it, let Him shake it. If He wants to drive out devils, let Him drive out devils! If He wants to stick you to the floor right before it's time for you to preach your wonderful ten-point sermon on Sunday morning, let Him stick you to the floor! He will take care of the people as they wait for you to come back to your senses. They are "His" people. They are "His" sheep. He's the Good Shepherd. He knows exactly what He's doing. He knows exactly what is needed to revive His people and bring truth to their inward parts. We might question it, but that doesn't change the fact the He is God and we are not.

When He speaks, He shakes things up. When He moves, everything around Him moves.

Some of you need to allow God to "move" in your life. Some of you need to allow God to move "through" you. You've been like the Rock of Gibraltar. Your favorite song has been, "I Shall Not Be, I Shall Not Be Moved." Don't get defensive on me now; I'm speaking the truth to you in love. I've been there, done that, so many times, that I don't have enough fingers on my hands to show you how many times I've fought against what God wanted to do in my life. Instead of singing, "Have Thine Own Way, Lord, Have Thine Own Way;" I was singing, "I Did It My Way." What was my problem? I needed deliverance. I needed the Lord to "move" His mighty arm or "move" His finger my way, so that all the dead, lifeless things in my life could be shaken off of me. Some of us have been carrying huge duffel bags of "dead stuff" around with us everywhere that we go. The Lord is saying, "Get rid of it. Stop carrying that stinking stuff around! Lay it down! Pick up your cross and follow me." The cross is much lighter than some of those bags that I'm seeing some of you carrying around "in the Spirit." There's life in death. "What do you mean?" Let me explain it to you this way. There would not have been a resurrection without a crucifixion. Death had to come in order for life to be manifested in the life of Jesus. When we die to ourselves, His life is resurrected in us. Glory be to God! That's enough to make somebody shout! Amen!

God desires to bring life to His people. When we cry out for a "move of God," we are saying this: "Lord, we are asking you to come and move in our midst. We want you to move in us, upon us, and through us, so that we can once again know what it means to live." In Him, we live, and move, and have our being. We live and move when we are "in" Him. Are you "in Christ" today?

My watch is a part of me. I wear it all the time. I even wear it to bed. The only time I take my watch off is when I take a shower. My watch goes everywhere that I go. It has become a part of my attire. It has no choice in the matter of whether it wants to go or stay. When I go, it has to go with me. It's the same with the clothes that I wear. When I move, they go with me. It's the same with God. When His presence begins to move and manifest in a church service or wherever we are, the Spirit of God in us begins to move along with the manifestation of His outside presence. There's a connection made in the Spirit. We are spirit beings. We communicate with God through our spirit man. When God starts moving, His Spirit in us begins to flow right along with what He's doing. Many times, we don't even realize what's happening until we find ourselves doing things that we normally don't do. Why did we do those things? Because our spirit yielded to His Spirit, and He was able to have His way in us.

Stop fighting against God. Stop resisting the work of Holy Spirit in your life. Allow Him to move in you. Allow Him to shake your cage for a while. It won't kill your spirit man. It will only kill your flesh. This is the way that it's supposed to be. The Apostle Paul said, "I die daily." What was he talking about? I believe that he was talking about dying to his fleshly desires, his carnal reasoning, his selfishness, and his wrong mentality of thinking. Paul was a human being just like you and I. He faced terrible circumstances during his lifetime. He was beaten with 39 stripes on 5 different occasions. Christ was only beaten once with 39 stripes. Paul suffered greatly. Did he ever give up? He never gave up. Were there days when he could have given up? I believe that Paul had "bad hair" days just like we do. I believe there were days when he didn't want to get out of bed and face another day. I believe Paul spent many days and nights praying for the Lord to "come quickly." He was human. Humans don't like to suffer. But when they do, God gives them all the grace that they need in order to make it through to victory.

You're not alone in the fight. You're not in the boat by yourself, friend. There is someone sitting right next to you. If you will just open your eyes to see, you just might see Jesus sitting next to you, looking you right in the eye. He knows your every move. He knows everything about you. He knows when you come in, and He knows when you go out. He sees you on your bad days, and He sees you on your good days. He watches you throw temper tantrums when you don't get your way. He sees you when you talk back to your kids. He laughs when He sees you laugh. He smiles when you bring pleasure to Him by the way you live your life and seek His face.

We serve an awesome God. He has His eye upon you today. He wants to move in your midst. He wants to shake the heavens and the earth to demonstrate His power on your behalf. He wants to lift the load of all the "dead" weights that you've been carrying around on your shoulders. Will you let Him lift the load from you today? Will you lay those cares and worries down and give them all to Jesus? Will you climb into His lap and allow Him to hold you in His arms for just little while? That's all the time it will take. Just a little while and everything will be all right. Why? Because Jesus is in the house! He wants to love on you and tell you how much He loves you. He wants to wipe away all those tears from your eyes. He wants to make Himself real to you.

Can you sense His presence right now? He's there. He's with you. Commit your ways to the Lord today. Don't hold anything back from the one who loves you. He is an awesome God, and He wants to do awesome things in your life. Will you allow Him to start moving? Will you hear Him when He speaks? If so, you're on your way to victory. You're on your way to resurrection life, joy unspeakable, and full of glory.

PROPHETIC WORD:
Don't give up. You're on the verge of a mighty breakthrough. Don't allow the devil to rob you of the victory that is soon to come your way. Stand up and fight the good fight of faith. Don't allow yourself to listen to the demands and lies of the enemy. You no longer belong to him. You're no longer his slave. You're mine, saith the Lord. You belong to Me, and I shall take good care of you. Don't allow yourself to be so soon shaken in your mind, because I have come to sanctify and cleanse you from the torment that you are now experiencing. I see, I hear, and I know what you're going through, saith the Lord. But know this, you are going through!
