He has been swamped with requests for the list by people who are afraid they have been missing out on something. You didn’t order one, did you? Do you sometimes feel like you are missing out on something by being a follower of Jesus Christ? I hope not. While we may avoid certain behaviors, we have more real and lasting joys than those who are not fortunate enough to follow Him. Missing out? No, just the opposite. Heb. 11:25 (niv) says, (speaking of Moses), “He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.” Would that we could have the same courage to say “no” when a situation calls for us to take a stand. God says in Isa. 43:5, “Do not be afraid for I am with you.” That reassurance couldn’t come from a better source. So, if you need a special boost of courage to face today, go to the source of courage -- your heavenly Father. Have a great day!
