You ask (well, maybe you didn’t), after 53 years with me, does Betty have any wrinkles? Actually, she has surprisingly few, but even the ones she has look good on her. I probably put them there, and maybe our daughters helped. Looking back on your past, did you put any wrinkles on your Mother’s face? Are there some things that you would like to take back or do differently? Most of us would have to be honest and say yes. Some of us are slow learners, and it takes us a long time to learn that most of the things we do in life have some ripple effect on others. We don’t live in a cocoon. In many ways about which we may not be conscious, we affect others lives, hopefully for good. Psalm 112:9 (nlt) inspires us with these words: “They give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will never be forgotten. They will have influence and honor.” Those are good ripples! I hope that can still apply to our generation. E-Cheer is provided by David George a stroke victim layman and meant to be a source of encouragement and uplift by providing a jump-start for your day.
