Title: See Ya
 by David George

See Ya

On our trip we will wonder, “Why do they lock those gas station restrooms -- are they afraid someone will clean them?”

Some of you will read this while we are sleeping and others will read it while we are traveling. My doctor has patched me good enough to make the trip, and we are leaving at 6 a.m. Monday. We will arrive in PA on Tuesday night. Your prayers for a safe journey will be appreciated. Our granddaughter’s wedding is on Saturday.

There will be NO E-Cheer on Tuesday morning -- we’ll be on the road. E-Cheers, starting Wednesday morning and continuing through our trip, will be re-issues from three years ago. If you’ve been with me that long, you probably won’t remember them anyway. Although I can get mail through my web server, some restraint in writing during this time will be appreciated. We plan to arrive home on Thursday evening, Oct. 4.

During our “live” absence, may we leave you with these words from 1 Thes. 5 (niv): “Be joyfrul always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus...May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it.” See ya!

In 1997 I had a stroke that crippled my left side. Upon release from therapy I started a ministry of daily e-mail devotions called E-Cheer to encourage others. I am a layman, having spent my career as service manager for the Allen Organ Co.
