Renee's Anxiety Haven
Title: Encouragement
by Rene'e Furrer

Encouragement
In light of what took place on September 11th. 2001 I would
like to post some scripture verses of encouragement.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those who have lost loved ones. The brave
Firefighters, Police Officers and EMT's who lost their lives. Their families,
the President and the descisions he will be making and the USA who still
stands strong because we were built on Christianity and the Lord is in control!
ENCOURAGEMENT
Philippians 4:6-8
In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of
God, which passes all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts
in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever
things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are
pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Psalms 138:7
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; Thou wilt stretch
forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, And thy right hand will
save me.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives,
give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
II Corinthians 4:8-9
We are pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto
despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed;
Galatians
6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap,
if we faint not.
Romans 8:28
And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good,
even to them that are called according to his purpose.
Matthew 6:34
Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious
for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
II Corinthians
1:3, 4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies
and God of all comfort; Who comforts us in all of our affliction, that we
may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort
wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
In Christ,
