The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength!
Title: God Has A Sense Of Humor!

" He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh, the
Lord shall have them in derision. "
( Psalms 2:4 )
While this refers to God's laughter at the futile efforts of His enemies
to defeat Him,
I believe God enjoys a few laughs now and then. Recently I ran out of gas
in a truck
I was not used to driving. I walked for 30 minutes towards the closest gas
station and
the Lord sent someone to give me a ride. I got to the gas station, bought
a gas can and
got some gas and began walking back to the truck. 30 minutes
later, the Lord sent
another person to pick me up who took me to the truck. I put the gas into
the truck
and drove to the next gas station. As I was preparing to pay for the gas,
a man
inside the store, who couldn't have known what had happened because
I was on the
other side of the freeway which was separated by a large grove of trees
( Beltway 8 )
from where I ran out of gas, began singing to himself a well known country
song
which states - ( and he started with this line ) - " Out of gas, just my
luck! Four
bald tires on my pickup truck! "
If every parent enjoys a good laugh at
something their children do every
now and then, Why wouldn't God the Father enjoy a good laugh at something
one of His children do sometimes? It shows me that He and I are in covenant
relationship. Have you and God had a good laugh lately?
