This site and the privilage of sharing the word on the net
is a major blessing to me especially when you consider that only a year
ago I had never used a pc. But I have been obedient to the Lord, and been
taught, and now have this blessing bestowed upon me . Thank you Lord.

God bless you!
Today I want us to look at gods word from a (personal prophetic) point of
view. what do you mean I hear some of you say? Well lets get into the scriptures
and find out. 2 Timothy 3 v 16-17: All scripture is God breathed and is
useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training so the man of god
may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. That means God breathed life
on it and it is very much alive. Teaching, rebuking, correcting and training
are all ongoing doing words. The Bible is full of life so much so that I
have often said to people " if I don't hold on tight to my bible, it will
run off down the road".
The most common way God communicates with his people
is through his word. So what's in it for you?
quit a lot! One thing I have found is that God will often show us a plan
for part of our life from the scriptures and we can watch it unfold like
a story, and this is what I mean when I say (personal prophetic).
A peace of scripture that speaks personally to you. Sometimes it seems as
if it had been written just for you and nobody else. Great, the Lord is speaking
to you. Let me share an example with you from my own life so that you will get the
idea.
Many years ago there was serious problems in the company I was working for ,naturally
I was concerned about my job, I have a family ,a mortgage, what should I
do, what was going to happen? As I was praying to the Lord about this he
spoke to my heart very clearly and led me to psalm 91. He showed me that
there was a plan for my life through this crises, and over the next 11 months
I found great comfort in this psalm and also I knew what would happen next."Forewarned
is forearmed" as we say here in England.
Please open your Bible to psalm 91.
The first thing that God shoed me was that He was overshadowing me and there
was nothing to fear.(verses 1-2)
The second thing was that He would save me and I would not be harmed in
any way.(verses 3-6)
The third thing was that I would see casualties, but I would not be one
of them. I held onto psalm 91 tightly for 11 months and drew great comfort
and strength from this psalm, and I came out of this battle unharmed and in
a better financial position, but even more inportant, I was stronger in the
Lord because He had built up my faith in Him.
Right, now it's your turn.
I encourage you to reach out to the Lord in prayer and ask him for some
scripture that is (personal prophetic) to you. The more you get used to
seeing scripture this way the more God will be able to use you to bless others
in this way, or if you're a newcomer to this kind of thing ask another Christian
to pray for some scripture for you. I encourage you to pray before you read
your bible thanking God for His word, and ask him to bless your study (however
short it is) and that He will speak to from His word. I think you will be
surprised and blessed at the results.
Some readers might say "Kev, this is pretty basic stuff! I would reply, yes
it is but get the foundation right and you can really start building. Well
that's all for now although I do intend on going into greater depth on the
prophetic word at a later date.
Love in the mighty name of Jesus,
Kev.
p.s. Please feel free to email me either to add something, or to make comment
or just to say hello. If you like I am happy to pray for a scripture for
you and return it via the email. God bless you.
